Christopher Bell is in his second season as Artistic Director of The Washington Chorus. Their first concert of the new season, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, presents A German Requiem by Johannes Brahms, and Ballad of Heroes by Benjamin Britten. He spoke with Classical WETA's Bill Bukowski about the challenges presented by both works, as well as his future ideas and plans with The Washington Chorus.
