Enter the Bethesda Literary Festival Youth Writing Contest and tell us in your own words about one thing that you do well, how you perfected it, and why you like it. Only hard copies (handwritten or typed) will be accepted. No faxes or e-mails will be accepted. The entry form must be completed and submitted with essay. Essays must be between 100-500 words in length. Writers must be in grades K-8 and students of schools located in, or residents of, Montgomery County, MD.
Up to 15 essays from grades K– 8 will be printed in Washington Parent magazine. Winners will be honored, along with their teacher, at a special event held during the Bethesda Literary Festival, April 19-21, 2013. All entries must be postmarked on or before March 1, 2013.
