Event Recap: Homefront: World War II in Washington Screening Event

More than 200 members of the public joined WETA in an exploration of life in Washington, D.C., during WWII at a free screening event of Homefront: World War II in Washington. This WETA TV 26-produced special provides an intimate snapshot of Virginia, Maryland and D.C., showcasing the stories of area residents during the extraordinary time of WWII.

Event guests met the filmmakers and featured local residents from the documentary before its Sunday, December 2, 8 p.m. premiere on WETA TV 26. The evening, emceed by Paul Anthony, included a reception with light appetizers and 40s-style entertainment, followed by a screening.
