J. Reilly Lewis and the Cathedral Choral Society join the Medieval vocal ensemble Eya for a multi-media concert event called Visionary Women, a tribute to Joan of Arc and Hildegard of Bingen, at Washington National Cathedral on Saturday, February 22 at 5pm. The concert features Richard Einhorn's oratorio, Voices of Light, presented alongside a screening of Carl Theodor Dreyer's 1928 silent film, The Passion of Joan of Arc. The vocal group Eya will perform works by Hildegard of Bingen. Classical WETA's afternoon host, Bill Bukowski, spoke with J. Reilly Lewis about Einhorn's work, Dreyer's film, and the event itself.
