Driving Directions

WETA operates two buildings in the Shirlingon neighborhood of Arlington. The WETA FM Radio Studio/Administrative Headquarters is located at 2775 S. Quincy Street. The WETA TV Studio is a short walk away at 3620 S. 27th Street.

FROM NORTHERN VIRGINIA

Take 395 North to the Shirlington exit (Exit 6). On the overpass, move immediately to the right lane and take the Shirlington Road/Arlington Mill Drive exit to the first traffic light.

If you are going to WETA FM Radio Studio/Administrative Headquarters, turn left at the traffic light onto Arlington Mill Drive. Take the first left on South Quincy Street. WETA headquarters is on the left. Free parking is available in the garage adjacent to the WETA building.

If you are going to the WETA TV Studio, go through the traffic light on Shirlington Road and turn left onto S. 27th Street (immediately after the bridge – if you pass the Weenie Beenie food stand you have gone too far). The studio is located on the left-hand side. Free parking is available in the lot next to the studio.

FROM WASHINGTON, D.C.

Take Memorial Bridge or 14th Street Bridge to 395 South. Continue to Shirlington/Glebe Road exit (Exit 7). Follow signs to Shirlington until you reach the first traffic light at Shirlington Road.

If you are going to WETA FM Radio Studio/Administrative Headquarters, go straight onto Arlington Mill Drive. Take the first left on South Quincy Street. WETA headquarters is on the left. Free parking is available in the garage adjacent to the WETA building.

FROM MARYLAND OR VIRGINIA VIA 495 AND THE GEORGE WASHINGTON PARKWAY

From 495 take the GW Parkway exit toward Washington D.C.. Exit toward 395 South. Merge onto Washington Boulevard toward 395 South, then follow the signs to merge onto 395 South via the ramp on the left. Continue to Shirlington/Glebe Road exit (Exit 7). Follow signs to Shirlington until you reach the first traffic light at Shirlington Road.

VIA PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

While WETA is not on any Metro line, it is only a short ride from the Pentagon Metro station via Metrobus. You can use Metro's Trip Planner to plan your route.
